From a Tucson estate some years ago is this vintage mid century 14K yellow gold ring centered by a 18x13mm oval green nephrite jade cabochon, the jeweler bench crafted mount done up with hand accomplished textural punch work work for additional visual "bling" - read plenty of sophisticated elegance for any cocktail occasion or just right for everyday wearing about. The central oval is a lovely green - as you would wish for this particular gemstone. There is a clear "14K" mark for gold fineness along with "JEL - 126" (jeweler mark and order/commission number). Weight is good for the form at about 9 grams on my portable digital scale - compare to any of that lightweight stuff at the mall.Condition is quite fine with a subtle aura of time to the gold surfaces. The is well preserved and looks great.
The shank has no appearance of any resizing and has plenty of "meat". All typical and expected signs of apparently occasional previous finger duty simply validate a gentle history.
A look at the pics should give a good idea of appearance and condition. Ring size is about 7 3/4 on my jeweler's ring mandrel (the bottom edge of the shank reaches that line on the mandrel). If you prefer vintage jewelry for crafting superiority and value (and the road less travelled), or simply wish a single immediate improvement to the ambiance of each day, this will have great meaning for you.
